Irish Theatre, British Militaria: Lace-bordered, Silk Theatre Program, Assembly Rooms, Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland, ca. 1885-1890's. 8 ¾ x 13 ¼". Monday, July 14th performance under the direction of Mr. Forsyth of Lord Lytton's "admired Play" Richelieu. Or The Conspiracy, done under the "distinguished Patronage of Colonel Clarkson and Officers Lancashire Fusiliers, Colonel Maule and Officers Royal Artillery, Colonel Browne and Officers Connaught Rangers", with a selections of music played by "a portion the band of the Lancaster Fusiliers". (For Col. Henry Barlow Maule's appointment as Second and as First Lieutenant, see lots 1006 and 1007 above; he was promoted to Colonel in 1885). Minor ripples. Very Fine and attractive.
