U.S. 19th Century Bowie Knife. Western or Pacific Northwest, Sheffield-style. Appears locally made or adapted. 7 ¾" blade, well-stropped, with three arrows at ricasso. Bone or ivory handle, brass ends. Handle fittings loose. Knife seems to have seen good amount of usage; also, small "Italianate" miniature, 20th Century. Small Renaissance-style portrait of a youth, white resin or composite frame. (2)
