Tunisia. Ottoman. `Abd al-Hamid II with Muhammad al-Sadiq Bey (AH 1293-1299/1876-1882 AD). Countermarked coinage. 4 Piastres, (AH 1295). Star c/m on the reverse of a 2 Piastres (KM 106), AH 1264 of `Abd al-Mejid. It is quite unusual to find this countermark on such a much earlier coin. KM--. Rare. VF on a Fine+ host.
