Gilt thread grip, end topped with Imperial crown, cipher of Alexander III on grip guard (solid on front, open-work on back), Imperial eagle on front guard. 26 1/8" narrow blade, maker's name on back of ricasso, gold decoration with niello, both sides, above. In leather scabbard with ornate brass fittings. An attractive and Very Fine sword.
