A Plan of the City of New York. 1763-1765. 40 x 23 cms. Reduced from an actual survey by Francis Maerschalck. P. Andrews, Sculp. Published by M. A. Rocque, London. The original edition was published in 1755 and is known as the Maerschalck Plan. Historically important, as this map documents the location of both the Jewish Burial Ground and the Negro Burial Ground. Some minor restoration and conservation is documented in an accompanying two page report.
