'Great Britain. WWI Pair to Captain P.W.B. Lawrence, R.A.F.. British War and Victory Medals (CAPT. P.W.B. LAWRENCE, R.A.F.). P.W.B. Lawrence (previously D.C.L.I. and Royal Flying Corps) served pre-war and earned the A.G.S. Somaliland and N.G.S. Persian Gulf. He was a qualified night fighter pilot, wounded April 24, 1917 returned to duty June 6, 1917. Served from July 2, 1917 with the 38th and later 76th Home Defense Squadrons. Served post-war; injured in a flying accident Feb. 25, 1919 died two days later. EF-AU.
