Great Britain. King's South Africa Medal, 1901-1902. Two clasps: "South Africa 1901", and "South Africa 1902" (1527 TPR: W.J. PAUL. STEINAECKER'S H.). William Johnstone Paul, originally of Edinburgh, a baker by trade, living in Durban, enlisted at Pietermaritzburg in Steinaecker's Horse, Oct. 12, 1901. He previously served with Thorneycroft's Mounted Infantry, and the British South African Police. Verified on roll. On ribbon (some fraying). Toned over a few light hairlines. Extremely Fine. With copy of recruitment papers and medal roll.
