Thailand. Rama III. Token 2 Keping, CS 1197 (1835). Legend between radiant suns, rev. Lotus flower and date. KM Tn2. These issues were produced in England as samples of a coinage to replace the cowries then in circulation. Rama III did not like them and they were never adopted. Rare, only 500 minted. Surface porosity and tiny deposit. Very Fine.
