Son of Tolui and grandson of Chinghiz Khan (Genghis Khan), Kublai Khan was the fifth khaqan of the Mongol Ulus, 1260-1294. In 1271, he founded the Yuan dynasty in China. Very rare, a Very Fine specimen realized $3,500 in Stephen Album Auction 21, Jan. 2015, lot 859. Some deposits and slight roughness. Fine.
