Generally, more common varieties; Type II (Lion and Sun at left and Arabesque over Shah) - 50 Rials (3), 100 Rials (3), 200 and 500 Rials, and 1000 Rials (2). P-117-121. Mostly more common varieties, but includes one P-118a; also. Uncertain Blue Cross overprint (twice) on late Shah 200 and 500 Rials; Red Cross overprint (twice) on late Shah 50 and 100 Rials, and Jumhuri-ye calligraphic overprint (as type III) and design on a late Shah 50 Rials.
