1813 Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry Battle of Lake Erie Medal. Julian NA-17. Bronzed Copper. 65mm. By Moritz Fürst. Second obverse die (ca. 1869-1885). Uniformed bust of Perry right, no engraver's signature; Latin legend around "Oliver H. Perry Commandant-In-Chief destroyed an entire fleet on Lake Erie", rev. Naval battle scene, Latin legend around, no star after "FACIT", and in exergue "Bravery finds and makes its way between the fleets of America and Britain 10 September 1813".
