(1) Sardinia, 10 Liras 1839 P, Turin check mint, gold, weight 3,22 g., ref. MIR.1046c (R2), Mont.88, Pag.216, Fr.1144, C#114. Obv. portrait left, rev. crown and mantel arms at center nside a laurel wreath, date underneath, mintmark P at left next to aigle's head.

Only 2,237 struck. Very rare mint type, almost impossible to find in AU58 or higher grades (SPL+) condition. Highest PCGS graded known so far (only 2 in AU58).

Very strong original mint luster and strike, making this PCGS finest known coin a gem classic rarity for discerned collectors.

(2) Napoleon I, King of Italy (1805-1814), 40 Liras, 1810 M, Milan mint, gold, weight 12.88 g., ref. Fr-5, KM-C12,Pagani-13, Gig-75. Napoleon I. head left, legend NAPOLEON IMPERATORE E RE, mint mark underneath the date M, rev: crowned and mantled arms, with legend REGNO D ITALIA.
Some weakness in the strike compensated by a brilliant mint luster. PCGS VF35, Very Fine..
