This gold Double Louis is definitively a rare coin type, although the actual mintage could never be precisely determined for the Lille mint.. Hardly seen in AU or MS, this classic gold Double Louis, with a strong gold mint luster, despite presenting marks usually seen on most exemplaries, will very nicely complement any gold French Royal collections.
