A Pleasing Assortment of Connecticut Pay-Table Office Fiscal Paper and More. Six partially printed single Pay-Table Office warrants, and a sheet of two uncut manuscript examples. Dates range from 1780 to 1789 and signers include Huntington, Colt, Porter, Lawrence and others. Four are uncancelled. Also included: an engraved receipt issued by Thomas Dobson, a Philadelphia bookseller and stationer dated Jan. 20, 1792; a promissory note for $900 issued in New York on October 14, 1800 and bearing an embossed Twenty Cents New York revenue stamp; a promissory note for 12 Pounds and Seventeen Shillings issued in Norwich on March 27, 1800 and bearing an embossed Ten Cents Connecticut revenue stamp.
