U.S.S.R. Pot Metal statue of Dzerzhinsky, 1945. Black, 9 ¼" tall, half-figure of Felix Dzerzhinsky (1877-1926), Soviet statesman and brutal director of Cheka. Iron Felix looks ¾ left, his name in Russian and date "1945" on back base; accompanied by ca. 1940's airplane paperweight. Aircraft metal, 5 ¼" high. Plane set on obelisk set on three-tiered base.
