Russia. Imperial Corps du Page Spiked Helmet. Ca. 1900-1910. Black lacquered body with leather visor, brass Imperial eagle frontplate with silver and enamel Guard Star, removable brass 'flame' spike set on cruciform base with studs; leather-line shin-scales, cockade on one side, three studs down back of helmet on brass bar, lined in black leather with leather sweatband, maker's paper tag inside. Wear to sweatband and lining, tape residue on brass visor border and minor scuff, light crackling of body. Overall Very Good.
