Ireland. Official's Ceremonial Bicorne Hat. Early 20th Century. Black lamb's wool bicorne, cloth sash on one side with clovers, and crown button two silver cloth, clover-pattern bands on same side. Silver thread thistle adornments front and back. Maker's name on inside red liner: W.CONAN 44 KILGARE STREET DUBLIN. Excellent condition. Ex Hammatt Collection.
