Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Portuguese India, printer's archival specimen 10 Rupias (2), 1 January 1906, with counterfoil, serial number run 68001 to 84000, signatures of Eduardo Pinto da Silva e Cunha as Governor and Balthazar Freire Cabral as Vice Governor; and serial number run 84001 to 105000, signatures of Eduardo Pinto da Silva e Cunha as Governor and Manuel Carlos de Freitas Alzina as Vice Governor, both black, pink and multicoloured, allegorical woman with trident standing on a hippocamp at centre, value at left and right, both Steamship Seal Type II at lower centre, reverse green and red rainbow pattern with helmeted female at centre, perforated SPECIMEN
(Pick 16as (2)), mounting traces, the first 6mm tear in lower margin, otherwise good very fine, the second ink date '2nd Sept 1908' in top counterfoil margin and 12mm tear in counterfoil only, otherwise good very fine to about extremely fine and an extraordinary opportunity to acquire a consecutive pair of printer's archival specimens with different Vice Governor signatures. This pair with these number runs is believed to be unique (2)
