Vanderbilt Consolidated Mining Company (Colorado) 1882. $10. No.104. Green border, pink paper. Miners with picks and shovels, center. Vertical shaft, left. Colorado state arms, right. Located on Yankee Hill, about a half a mile from Leadville. Extremely Fine. One of the nicest specimens we have seen. Issued, uncancelled. While not directly related to the Vanderbilt family, this piece is one of the most graphically pleasing Colorado mining shares, and retail offerings are usually $300 or more .
