New York. Mostly Bank of New York Check Collection. 1820 to 1882. A large and often colorful grouping, with little duplication. Some with revenue stamps or imprinted revenues, some with metalic gold overprints, some higher denominations included. While the earlier examples are heavily pen cancelled, most of the later pieces are in very nice condition. All but three are from the Bank of New York. Must be seen, sold as is.
