Ottoman Empire. Balkans region. 19th Century Yataghan. 21 ½" steel blade, gilt brass bolster, single coral bead each side. Horn grip with wide ears, brass ricasso, simple leather scabbard with full-length side row of brass vines. Some typical minor nicks on blade, split top end of scabbard. Otherwise well-preserved.
