KAΛV (the “A” inverted), Nude Apollo advancing right, holding laurel branch in his upright right hand, small daimon running right on Apollo’s extended left arm, small stag before, standing right, head reverted, rev. Incuse Apollo and stag, stag’s antlers in relief, to right heron in relief standing right. HN Italy 2043, SNG ANS 162, Noe Caulonia Group D, McClean 1594, Hunterian 4-5. Rare. Overstruck on uncertain issue. Toned pale violet gray with soft iridescent hues over light obverse scratches. Good Very Fine.
