Large lot of 19th-20th Century American Silverware. Hallmarked, maker's silvermark or marked Sterling. 7 Pounds (= 112 oz). Makers marks include: Simmons & Walters, Lockport (spoon set); Bailey, Banks & Biddle; Smith Patterson Co. (spoon set); E.S. & J. Ettenheimer; Pitkin, J.F. Pitkin (Buffalo, NY), James M. Ford. Nearly all American, a few English strays and a silver folding mess spoon by Volterrani & Raddi, (Firenze). Mostly spoons and forks of various sizes, some ladles, servers, a napkin holder, a shaker and shaker tray. Some sets, some personalized; In addition (not included in weight) -- a meat spit with what appears to be a silver handle and 2 silverplate ladles, one of which by Rogers & Bro. All well-kept.
