"Musical Bears" Silver lidded box inset with Bern 1795 Taler. 100.77 gms. 19th-early 20th Century. One dozen bears playing different musical instruments parade around round box; Bern Taler (KM 149) set at center of the floral lid. Three small hallmarks on bottom: crescent, script D and 13 - possibly German (with "D" for Dessau?). Fine workmanship, well-preserved, the coin Extremely Fine. A charming coin box.
