China. Eastern Zhou Dynasty. Spring and Autumn Period. Sloping Shoulder, Curved Feet, Empty Hilt Spade Money, Sixth to Fourth Century BC. Central Chinese character "Wu?" on curving line. Issued slightly later than the flat shoulder types, this type was minted for circulation around the environs of the capital and adjoining kingdoms. Good details and well-preserved with the edges still sharp. Some light typical earthen deposits, green patina. Good Very Fine.
