Bronte, Patrick (1777-1861). Irish-English priest and author. DS. September 16, 1856. Partially printed form. "Register of BURIALS in the Church of Haworth, near Bradford Yorkshire." He survived all of his children - Maria, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Branwell, Emily and Anne. After Charlotte's death he wrote her biography with the help of Elizabeth Gaskell. He was also responsible for the posthumous publication of Charlotte's first novel, The Professor. Some minor stains, otherwise very fine. Included are NPG postcards with images of The Bronte Sisters and Patrick.
