1916 Medal, reverse officially named '256 Frank Sheridan.', with integral top riband bar, extremely fine
Frank Sheridan, from Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin, served during the 1916 Easter Rising with the General Post Office Garrison. Taken prisoner and held at Richmond Barracks, he was released in June 1916, but died in November 1916 as a result of injuries incurred due to ill treatment during his imprisonment, and is buried in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin.
