A small selction of early Turnpikes shares, comprising Danbury and Ridgefield Turnpike Co., 180[4]; Middle Road Turnpike, [1809], must be the plainest of tunpikes issued with only 12 printed words; Hagerstown Turnpike Road Co., [1814], and, Westminster, Taney-Town and Emmitsburg Turnpike Road, 18[18], all small format pieces, black printing, all with some condition issues, generally fine, the last very fine but toned.
