Robert Szold, 1889-1977, U.S. lawyer and Zionist . Went to Palestine with the Zionist Commission in 1919 and then to London as part of the Reorganisation Commission. Served as Chairman of the Zionist Organisation of America until 1932. Established the Robert Szold Institute for Applied Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
