Pagonis, Washington, D.C. * John Forsyth (1780-1841), governor of Georgia, Secretary of State under Andrew Jackson. One page letter signed "John Forsyth", Department of State, Washington, 9 January 1839. Forsyth responds to a request for precise information regarding the French naval blockade of Mexican Gulf ports; * Frank B. Kellogg, Secretary of State under Coolidge and Hoover, Nobel Prize winner 1929 (for co-authoring the Kellogg-Briand Pact). One page typed letter, signed "Frank B. Kellogg" on embossed Secretary of State letterhead, Washington, Feb. 26, 1929. A brief note thanking Ellis Robb for his letter and friendly words; * George W.
