Warren G. Harding was the 29th President of the United States. In 1909, when this certificate was issued, he ran for Governor of Ohio, but lost. Three quarters of the shares in Harding Publishing were in Harding's name, but the other third was held by his employees, a virtual profit sharing plan, and the first of its kind in Ohio. A rare opportunity to own a share certificate signed by a future President of the United States.
