Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Charleston Railway Company, (PA), $50 shares, 1890, No. 530, issued to and signed twice by Andrew W. Mellon as President, once on the verso and once on the attached stub, both signatures uncancelled, brown frame, train and station in circular frame, VF+, stub pasted over the left border.

Andrew W. Mellon was an American banker, businessman, industrialist, philanthropist, art collector, US Ambassador to the United Kingdom and US Secretary of the Treasury. One of the great finds in the Penn Central Railroad archives. Scarce double-signed, and this nice. A portrait of Mellon is included.
