Also included is a form from the National Currency Bank, No.2 Wall Street, New York, December 27, 1867 that indicates that the Kirksville notes in this offering were sent to New York for redemption, but were returned to J. W. Taylor, Kalamazoo, Michigan, because the "time expired." Taylor was the Cashier for the First National Bank & Trust Company of Kalamazo and the Kirksville obsoletes in this offering are from his estate.
