Canada. Union Bank, Montreal. 1 Dollar. August 1838. Ch.725-18-02. Faded blue back. "Buffalo chase" (Catlin) at upper center, man with hammer below, Indian hunting bison at right. Irregular cut, but frame complete. Cashier Dudley's signature in blue ink. Fully issued, signed and serial numbered. Very Fine, a few tiny margin splits appear to have been sealed with tiny slivers of invisible tape. Still a very pleasing example, clean and original.
