ND (1945-1946) ARAMCO One Sovereign Gold. 0.2354 Troy ozs fine gold content. Eagle surrounded by text which reads "U.S. Mint Philadelphia - USA. The gold content is stated on the reverse. These coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint a short while after World War II and may have been used to pay the Royal Family for oil rights, or perhaps to pay workers in the oil fields. . Uncirculated.
