California Fractional Gold. 1853 Liberty Octagonal Dollar. BG-526 (High R-6). A strong Extremely fine, approaching About Uncirculated. Wispy coppery-golden toning accents surfaces that retain their fair share of somewhat muted mint frost. A very rare die variety. In fact, only a handful of BG-526 gold dollars have reached the market through a major public auction in the last 10+ years!
