American Artists: Walter Kuhn (1877-1949). Painter and organizer of the famed 1913 Armory Show in New York; best known for his bold depictions of circus and vaudeville performers. Autograph Letter Signed "Walt Kuhn". On oblong 12mo postcard, Ogunquit, ME June 4, 1945. Writing to Robert Laurent, Kuhn says: "PATSY SANTO the landscape painter wants to come to Ogunquit. I don't know what the situation is at the cove. He would like the least expensive shack at the cove - Have you anything? ... I think Patsy would fit in around here…" Ex R.M.
