Vivid red seal and serial numbers; crisply executed signatures. Just a trace of fold wear on the back. In 1874, New Lisbon (now Lisbon) was a small town with a population of less than 2,000 people. Over a 24-year period, from 1874 to 1898, the bank issued a total of $156, 070. In 1916 only $960 worth remained unaccounted for. Notes from this bank are "Unreported" in Kelly, and Track & Price shows the census to be zero. No collection of National Bank Notes from Ohio can ever be complete without this newly-discovered Columbiana County rarity.
