IA. Winterset. Ch. 1403. First National Bank of Winterset. $5 Original Series. Fr. 397. The top and bottom portions, each about 35mm high, are held together by paper tape. A 10mm high horizontal center strip is unfortunately missing. It would have contained the word "FIRST," and the bottom half of the red Treasury seal. There is a tear at lower left. The intact portions of the note show Fine detail. Kelly shows no large size Nationals from this Madison County title, and Track & Price concurs. A unique opportunity for the advanced Iowa collector.
