The "Bison" Ten, for good reason, is among the most iconic American banknote issues, and for the thousands of aspiring Large Size collectors, a Gem Bison certainly must represent the pinnacle of their collecting desires. For those few fortunate enough to have the budget for such a note, herein lies an opportunity. On the present specimen, visibly fresh surfaces exist throughout with the addition of boardwalk margins and sharp corners. The seal and serial number maintain vibrant red color with bold inking elsewhere. Likely taken by an early collector from a pack, as other similarly serialed examples in lofty grades show in the census.
