Italy - Milan. 1676 1 Filippo, Carlo II. VF. DAV-4005. 40.5mm/27.7gms One-year type. Obv: Bust of Charles II right. Rev: Crowned ornate shield. Hammered multiple times with what appears to be a triple profile of Carlo II. The surfaces are well cared for considering the grade level with no significant metal to metal contact and an attractive outline of patina around the peripheries. While typical, the striking detail runs off portions of the flan with several areas of weakness apparent on both sides.
