Italy - Casale. ND (1494-1518) 1 Teston, Guglielmo II Paleologo. NGC AU55. Obv: Marquis of Monferrato in berretta. Rev: Arms. Wonderful natural toning with multicolored accents blankets both sides. The surfaces, as suggested by the patina, have not been altered in centuries and remain incredibly well preserved with no distracting marks. One crack in the flan is noted for accuracy, but is as-struck and does not obstruct the central devices.
