Yüan (Mongol) Dynasty, Shun-ti (Togon-temür), third nien-ho: Chih-cheng (1341-1367), County of Chi, heavy Cash-Value 5 Mace in Silver, Copper, 68.7 mm, Chih-cheng [Chih]-pao, rev. Chi on top, Ch´üan-ch´ao [wu-ch´ien] (Schj. 1114), a third of the coin has been broken off in the past, nonetheless still a very collectible and genuine example of this extremely rare issue of the last Mongol ruler of China, light deposits, traces of reddish earthen hues, very fine. Acquired in the early 1920´s.
