†1895 (20 June) envelope addressed to Philadelphia bearing Chefoo Municipal Post 1894 1/2c. Yen T'ai Tower pair cancelled by "local post/chefoo" c.d.s. and used in combination with U.S. 1890-93 5c. yellow-brown tied by type IV Shanghai Agency duplex; the reverse with Chefoo and Shanghai Local Post c.d.s., San Francisco transit and arrival c.d.s. The envelope is very fragile and has suffered some peripheral faults, nevertheless a rare combination.
