1862 (11 Feb.) commercial entire from New York to Augustine Heard & Co in Shanghai "pr 'Africa'" bearing 1861-62 3c. rose, 24c. red-lilac and 30c. orange (paying the 57c. rate via Marseilles) cancelled by barred circles and showing manuscript rate marks "32" in magenta ink and handstruck "1d", the flap with oval "forwarded by/weston & gray/new-york (used as a company cachet) and Hong Kong transit c.d.s., fine and attractive.
