Postal Stationery 1898 stamped-to-order envelope with impressed 11/2d. yellow and 1/- green, addressed to Honolulu, cancelled by superb strikes of the Ashton Under Lyne c.d.s. for 16 November 1898, the 1/- additionally cancelled by red "honolulu/hawaii" circular datestamp, San Francisco registration label and black "R" in oval handstamp at left; some light staining though barely detracting.
