1857-63 LC 14 1d. plate 57, GE, on neat uncreased pale blue entire from London to Kendal, tied by very fine strike of the extremely rare experimental double-c.d.s. machine cancellation, produced on Creswell's 'rotary stamping apparatus', dated 18 March 1858; the adhesive a little rubbed though otherwise fine.
