Stamp Boxes and Related Items Related Items A Magnificent Portuguese six piece silver desk set of exceptional quality, comprising a five compartment stamp box, huge inkwell, paper knife, pen rack, pin tray and seal, all finely cast and chiselled in a high rococo style and each applied or embossed with a detailed coat of arms surmounted by a count's coronet, the stamp box (14.5cm. wide) having two large and three small compartments, each with a separate hinged lid and gilded interior, all set in a plinth with strong scroll and shell corners and a central coat of arms, each piece struck with "Lisbon 833" standard marks, the larger pieces also "LEITAO LISBOA 1893"; superb and probably unique.
