†South Australia 1873 (17 Apr.) envelope to Manchester, marked "Via Brindisi", bearing 1870 perf 10 2d. brick-red vertical pair and single, each centrally cancelled by very fine "northern tery/s.a" c.d.s., showing "ship-letter/paid/london" transit c.d.s. (28.7) in red with arrival d.s. (28.7) on reverse; the envelope with some faults including part of reverse torn away.
