Papua Queensland Used in Papua 1898 (20 May) envelope registered from Port Moresby to Germany, bearing Queensland 1897-1908 1d., 2d. and 21/2d. pair tied by good strikes of the "b.n.g." 8-bar obliterator, showing "registered /port moresby. ng" h.s. (Lee Type 3) and "port moresby/british new guinea" c.d.s. (Type 6) on face, the 21/2d. pair additionally tied by "r" in oval, Sydney transit c.d.s. on reverse.
